Anytime somebody makes a long trip like this we need to have a list of member locations and phone numbers that are willing to help a fellow club member in need.

I agree with having a list of members along the way if you run into serious trouble

Yeah the map is a good idea. I recently tried the fordification map on frapper, the link from some other discussion on the forum here. I couldnt get it to pull up.

Glad you made it. I live in east Texas and Killen sucks. I served for 8 years and only had to spend a few weeks there. I guess I got lucky!

BMWCCA used to send out a book with member information and what they were willing to do (tools, parts, place to sleep ect) I don't know if they still do it or not.

I can see maintaining the list being a bit of a nightmare, it would have to be some sort of database that the user could add/edit/delete.

I'll mention it to Keith and see what he thinks... I think he has a awful lot on his plate though...
