Scored!

Post by R.Smith »

The father of a friend of mine started restoring a 72 ranger long bed about 25 years ago. He took the truck down to the frame, had the bed completely redone by a reputable body man, bought all kinds of goodies like a new tailgate, sliding rear glass, all the rubber, window rattle kits, had the hood and fenders blasted and painted ect, new radiator grill, new steering wheel the engine has yet to be rebuilt(6 cyl..240 he thinks)....tons of new parts. Well, he's decided to give up due to loss of interest and lack of time so he called me and told me it was mine if I wanted it for $600.

I think I shall buy it, keep what I need (hood, rubber, window kits ect) and sell the rest to you fine fellas. I don't need a bed, fenders, radiator, tailgate ect (knock on wood!)

Indeed a good score. Sell the bed and store the rest in the rafters or basement.
