is it just me or...

Does anyone else get excited when they see another bump-side, weither it be in a movie or video, or while cruising down the road in your bump, does anyone else get bump fever? :fr:

My eyes are specially trained to spot a bumpside from any distance, angle, and in any lighting(day or night). It's kinda a subconscious thing now. It's amazing how many are still out there if you LOOK for them. Sometimes you have to look hard, but then on some days they're everywhere. A month ago i was driving down a road a few miles from where I live and out of the corner of my eye I saw a truck way off the road(500 ft+) on the edge of some woods. I turned around and headed down the old dirt road towards the treeline. Amazingly it was a bump, not just any old bump, but one painted the exact same color with same trim package as my winter green '72 f100 custom. Identical from what I could tell. If I had extra money right now, I'd try to buy it for a parts/backup truck for my f100.

:D, Its not just you I do too  ! It seems whenever I'm riding around anywhere especially on road-trips that I spend the whole time searching high and low for bumps, or dents for that matter . Usually by the time I spot one I can't whip out the phone or camera quick enough to get a picture though, that or I don't have it with me :o.

Oh yeah. I've always spotted 70s Fords. I didn't know there was a bumpside and dentside variation until recently, though/

I was in Mexico a couple of months ago and I came back with a bunch of pics of Ford trucks. My wife still makes fun of me because trucks was the only thing I could think to take pictures of.

I see other bumps around here time to time. I get a big kick out of having a fellow bump owner wave when I'm driving mine. :)

Yes indeed I do...and the whole family. Wife, two boys and my daughter...they all spot them and we all look and discuss them. My wife has become quite the identifier of correct year models too.

Life is good.
