thanks knock, well i would like 3"s but i do like 2.5s sound. and ive only heard 3" on big blocks. since i have stock/mild 302, then 2.5s will do just fine.KnockKnock wrote:I love these threads.

It's debated whether back-pressure actually does improve torque numbers, so for me it's all about sound. 2.5'' pipes sound really nice, and is likely what I would recommend to a customer, but I'm a big fan of 3's. Some folks don't like the sound (they tend to gurgle), but around here it's common-place, and even carries bragging-rights. Whatever you decide to go with, that truck is freakin' awesome! I can't wait to see the final outcome.
