I think the lead firetruck was pulling the Ford on a release-able cable.
when they passed the engine's exhaust, the pilot gave it full throttle, thereby blowing the Ford off the tarmac.
The second emergency vehicle was out of the exhaust plume. It is pretty narrow at that distance.
When I worked as an aircraft mechanic, we got to see a few things like that (just not on purpose, mostly)
In life many men take the path of righteousness, some take the path many others follow (G.M. owners, for example), some take a more arduous path, some a simpler path. I, sir, took the PSYCO-PATH!!
The windshields are tested for bird strike with dead chickens shot out of a cannon. Funny story, the Russians knew about the tests, so they decided to copy it. Only problem, they used frozen chickens! Punched a whole right through the skin. I can see them scratching theirs heads wondering why their design failed so miserably!
