The only part of the I beam that has changed is the end, the pitman arms are still in the same position.GT-Racer wrote:you may need A drop down pitman arm. Like comes in most bigger left kits. That may re allign your steering linkage. I think.

with my 4" coils on my truck it still looks like I will not need a drop pitman arm, but you may need one.

re: upside down i beam?
HELP!! I need information now. Hit a road block. In order to make this work I am going to have to flip the spindle upside down. Is the pin that holds the spindle in tapered? If it is then I am sunk and will most likely have to put it back the other way.

re: upside down i beam?
UPDATE!!! I just flipped one spindle and that throws the allignment way out of whack. So, I checked the other side and the allignment looks good but now the brake backing plate has to go on upside down. Not too much of a problem. This will be the first fabrication on any of it. I am going to run a steel brake line from the wheel cylinder, which is on the bottom now, around the spindle and to the to to connect with the rubber line. Getting closer.

Well, Heavenly it was fun while you tried it. And i think we all learned something we did not know. Or I know i did at least.

re: upside down i beam?
Was just putting my front end back into my 250 and couldn't get the brake backing plate to go on one side. Stepped back and took a look at it and I had put one side on upside down.
Didn't I just say that didn't work
