Georgia is my home. I'm up the northern half of the state. My trips through south GA, I've seen LOTS of bumps. There's still a bunch up in the mountains, but not many at all in the metro-Atlanta area(worst part of the state for old trucks in my opinion).

Texas has trees! I'm from Dallas.
Although the farther west you go, the less trees there are. Eventually its just scrub and catus...

I live in Blue Ridge Ga, 8 miles south of Tenn/NC. This is Ford country up here and the TONS of trucks, new and old. Sometimes I think trucks outnumber cars around here.

Blue Ridge is a nice town/area. I used to live in Blairsville(more like halfway between Blairsville and Blue Ridge, not far from Ivy Log). I'd say that's about true when it comes to trucks outnumbering cars!

Lifelong Arkansan here. Lots of bumps and dents around here too. Too many hot rodders here are Chebbie guys though so I take a lot of flak for being and old Ford guy. I had my copy of Steve Christ's book, How to Rebuild Big Block Ford Engines, at work the other day and this guy says, "Your problem is the Ford part," when he saw the title of the book. I replied, "No, my problem is that all the mechanics around here spend so much time working on chevys that they don't know anything about Fords." He didn't have anything else to say. :D

Ya pretty much. Most of them can't believe that I have 219K miles on my ranger and have never done any major work to it either.

I'm in Louisiana now...retired from the Army here...but have lived in the South my whole life other than ten years in Europe, one year in Korea and some pit stops in the desert. Lived in Hartwell, Ga., Plant City, Fla (what we call home), Clarksville, TN and good old Leesville, LA.
