I gave up on that long ago. I'd suggest you get yourself some jeans and shirts for working on your truck and keep your good stuff seperate. :)

Once a year, I go buy a pair of Dickies Carpenter jeans at Wal-mart and I 'nominate' a sacraficial shirt. They go in the trash once they get just too nasty.

I usually have pretty good luck with this stuff at removing stains...

It's available at Dallar General and Wal-mart.

I will ask my aunt in the morning, my uncle would work on his tractor&trailer and get covered in oil and grease from head to toe and one day i was joking with him and said i guess those are going in the trash, and he give a funny look and said my aunt was going to wash them. I asked her what she used to get them clean, but im not 100% sure i remember right. I think she said lester oil but ill go by there and ask her what she uses. I know what ever she uses works because when he starts working on something hes clean and when hes finished hes black.

"GOOP" hand cleaner from wally world, it' $1.00 a jar. I use it on everything, carpet stains, in the wash with my work cloths. Take a stiff brush and brush it into almost any stain and then throw it in the wash or rinse with a hose. It works good cleaning your hands too.

I've used Gunk foamy engine brite with good results.

Don't use the original Gunk . it smells like diesel and the wife Will Not Like It.

x2. They used to carry it at our Dollar store, works pretty well.

I've been buying Craftsman brand jeans from Sears, they have a 2-year warranty on wearing out, and come with a Teflon coating so they're stain resistant.

I'm sorry if I ask lots of questions, there's just a lot of stuff I don't know (yet).
