Steering wheel removal
I need to get the steering wheel off to take a look at the turn signal components. What's the trick after you get this nut off? It doesn't budge any more than with it on. Thanks!

Get a steering whelle puller form your parts store. It should only run about ten bucks. It should come of easily then. Somtimes you need to smack the shaft with a hammer, but the wheels are not usually too bad to get off.

a little inside trick if you have an air hammer and compressor, using the pointed punch bit pull on the steering wheel and a couple hits with the air hammer on the top of the shaft and the steering wheel falls off, a little faster than a puller although tje puller may be the safer way to go.

Here's a photo of a wheel puller. Also, here's a nifty photo of a walking stick on one of my tires. We don't see many around here so it was a bit of an occasion.

Just put the wheel on and nut and tighten down the nut, it will ress itself on, make sure to have the nut on more than a couple threads may have to hit the steering wheel a couple times, or you may strip out the shaft
